Design and production of a range of mouthblown glassware, in collaboration with artisans in both New York and Czechia. Inspired by the graphic shapes found in Italian metalwork and architecture, I designed a range of glassware, all of which have a signature hollow base which elevate the pieces into a sculptural piece of art when not in use.
This project involved concept design, material and colour selections, followed by many rounds of prototyping and refinement to get the perfect shape and colour tonality. Finally, I oversaw quality control at scale production to ensure colour and quality levels were consistent.
